Just realised that the last time I blogged was on 1/12/2008. Thats like almost a year already.. hahaha.. just really not a blogger I guest..
Anyway, time to reflect back on those resolutions I made:
1) To lose weight!! Currently, I'm at 86kg. Hahahaha.. Aiming for 75kg.. A daunting task it is..
- I actually had lost weight to 79 kg in August. But recently went back up to 86kg.. Hahaha.. No so much of an acomplishment there.
2) To get a new hobby.. I remember in 2007, this was wat being suggested by my firm. Hahahahaha. I remember asking a senior of mine when she mentioned this, "I need a hobby, not just a new hobby." Thinking of getting into photography. I have a Panasonic Lumix LX2, which I never fully utilise it. Sigh!!
- I lost my LX2, which was stolen from me.. From my very own room.. So far, failed miserably
3) To save enough money to get married. Yes, you heard me right. Planning to get engaged during the year and god's willing, intend to tie the knot this year as well.4) To get a new job in U.K. This has been my aim for quite some time. Just that I'm only gonna be marketable this year. So, I intend to go all out on this..
- Yay!! At least something was done.. Hahahha.. Yeah, tied the knot..
I promise to write more on what's been happening to me this whole year..

5th Message: New Year Resolutions
Moving forward to 2008, I have set myself some resolutions. Whether I'll act and do something on it is a different thing. Honestly, I haven't set any resolutions for as far as I can remember. :p
1) To lose weight!! Currently, I'm at 86kg. Hahahaha.. Aiming for 75kg.. A daunting task it is..

4) To get a new job in U.K. This has been my aim for quite some time. Just that I'm only gonna be marketable this year. So, I intend to go all out on this..
Mmmm... quite a lot!! Personnaly, all the above seems quite impossible. Hahahaha.. (what an attitude!)..

4th Message: 2007 recap
Wow!! It has been like 5 month since my last entry.. A lot of thing happened since then.. Let me just go through what has happened since then:
August:
Had the intercompany games. I got myself injured in the preliminaries. I was rebounding the ball when I landed on an opponent's foot. Ouch!! Even worse, it happened in the 1st of 3 games. Sigh!! Well, I went to a clinic and got a painkiller injection and played on in the next 2 games. Kinda heroic but stupid. Well the good thing is that we made it to the semi, eventhough we won only 1 game. (We qualified based on head to head comparison). In the semi, we met the same team we met the previous year. And, I injured my ankle again (3 times!!) in this game. Well we lost the match.
My brother also got married in August. I was made his best man. He was pissed that I got myself injured in the ball game. Hahahaha.. Luckily, I managed to pull it off and escaped unscratched.
September:
I joined a state team for a national level basketball tournament. But with my ankle still injured, there weren't much I can do. We finished a dissapointing last. The team was full of trouble. I somehow regreted that I joined the team. I was really² not ready and I made myself looked stupid most of the time. Sigh! I am considering retirement from tournaments.
On work, we have started our interim works. Went into the clients and had to do a lot of tests. I was put in charge in of of the centres that we went to. Really² tested my resiliance and patience. Anyway, everthing went rather "ok" and although got screwed a few times, it's not as bad as previous rounds.
October/November/December
Work.. work.. work... Finished the interim and went to the prelims. Sigh!! it was a mess...
My senior kept on missing (ended up resigning). My team was downsized to 2 ppl (including myself) (original we had 4 ppl).
I was not happy at the task allocation for the job. I feel like being marginalised. Sigh!!. They assign me to crappy sections. Anyway, ended up I have to do other part as well (due to the reshuffling of staffs).
Well, I am gonna have a hectic year end. Being short of staff and have to do most of the work. It doesn't help that my new boss (yes, got a new boss) keeps on asking me to do a lot of things. Sight!! I really² need to be mentally fit for all this. Expected that the busy season to continue until Feb..
Mmmm.. Thinks that should rather sums up my activities for the past 5 months. Will write again when have time..
